We need motivation to train not the gym

Posted by Tarun Gill on

I hear this all the time be it in the media or the so called fitness experts, sharing how people are getting more and more conscious about fitness. With the proliferation of many neighbourhood and international fitness centres, fitness in India is going to be the next big thing. I somehow find this forecast very contradictory!

WE NOW HAVE MORE FAT

Think about it, if people are more fitness conscious now, why is it there are more fat people in India what they were twenty years ago.

WE NOW HAVE MORE GYMS

We may now have access to the best fitness centers but we are now far more lazier what we were twenty years ago. This could also be the reason why the same fitness centers and gyms open up with zeal also shuts down in no time.

WE NOW HAVE MORE MONEY

Its not that we don’t have the money to spend! We have no problems in spending money on buying clothes, expensive dinners, shoes or even tech toys. But when it comes to fitness, we tend to hold ourselves back.

WHAT WE DON’T HAVE IS MOTIVATION

We may have given people the infrastructure to train, but what we truly need to provide people is the motivation to train. Which is where we Indians lagging.

There is a strong reason for that: deep down we know that no matter how hard we try on our fitness, we may not get the desired output. We would still be struggling to lose weight.

WE ALL NOW NEED A COACH

But if we find someone who we trust, who assures us that he will make it happen for them, then it becomes easier. Thats why we all need someone. Some call them a mentor, guide and some coach. Someone who people can rely on and will always tell them the right thing.

You can rely on me as your fitness coach and i will always tell you what is right for you and your fitness.
