Indian women are very smart and beautiful but when it comes to weight loss, they are so different and do crazy things. For example:
ALMOST ALL INDIAN WOMEN THINK THAT THEY ARE FAT
SOME OF THEM ARE FAT, BUT DESPERATELY TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THEIR LIFESTYLE
SOME WOMEN ARE LEAN, BUT HAVE THIS PHOBIA TO GET TONED AND TIGHT.
SOME OF THEM ARE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR THEIR MARRIAGE AND SOME TRYING TO SAVE THEIR MARRIAGE BY LOSING WEIGHT.
SOME WOMEN FEAR THAT THEY MAY GAIN WEIGHT AGAIN AND HENCE ARE RUNNING FOR HOURS EVERYDAY ON THE TREADMILL.
SOME DON’T WANT TO MAKE AN EFFORT AND ARE SPENDING THOUSANDS OF RUPEES ON WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS.
What we need to understand that the reason we put on weight is because of our lifestyle, the day we make small modifications to that very lifestyle, weight loss will become very easy. As easy as eating food, or taking shower. Here are some ways to lose weight:
DON’T GET OBSESSED WITH WEIGHT LOSS
Almost everyone in India is obsessed with weight loss. We keep trying new weight loss products, regardless of their side effects, which affects us in long run. Your first step in losing weight is to stop pressurizing yourself. It is ok if you are overweight. So long you acknowledge it. Problem could have been if you were fat but failed to recognize it.
You already know the problem, now focus on doing something about it. But fat is not always bad, especially with women. Curvy women will always be preferred over skinny ones by any man in any part of the world. Accept your body type.
DON’T JUST BLINDLY DO CARDIO
If you plan to do too much cardio, please make a note, that cardio doesn’t spare bust either and you may stand a chance of losing your bust. Which is quite a turn off, unless you want to be those skinny, anorexic Fashion TV models.
MAKE FITNESS AS PART OF YOUR LIFESTYLE
And if you are trying to lose weight for your wedding day, don’t just do it to look good on that particular day. Make this as part of your lifestyle. Because you will end up gaining all that weight back and your husband may feel that he married someone else on the wedding day.
Remember, losing weight starts with you, no dietician or any fitness trainer can help you with that. They can only guide you!
